Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Crusher Operator to join our team in Whitestone, GA. This full-time position involves operating and monitoring crushing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient processing of materials, and recording production data.

Responsibilities include complying with all safety policies, selecting materials and equipment, inspecting equipment, and notifying supervisors of repairs. The role may involve other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Imerys, MSHA and Equipment Mfg Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Receives oral or written instructions from Supervisor and selects required materials and equipment to perform the job.
• Observes operation of equipment to ensure continuity of flow, safety, and efficient operation, and to detect malfunctions.
• Move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment that crushes, grinds, polishes, or blends materials from Crusher Operator Control room.
• Record data from operations, and production on specified forms.
• Tracks grade of stone being processed and records on Crusher Report Data sheet.
• Examine materials, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Clean, adjust and maintain equipment as necessary, using hand tools if/as needed.
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs.
• Any other job duties assigned by management.
