Knife River is currently accepting applications for a Mechanic. This is a great opportunity, for the individual that enjoys learning and multi-tasking. We are seeking applicants for our shop and field services. The Mechanic is responsible for assisting with maintenance and repairs to construction equipment and crusher equipment.
This is a full-time position that will require occasional overtime and weekend work.
Working hours are Monday thru Friday, working hours depend on workload.
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Crusher Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with assisting the crusher mechanic in repairing and maintaining crushers and related equipment.
Responsibilities may include:
* Inspect problems with crushers and related equipment
* Repair and replace worn or broken parts as needed
* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and minimize downtime
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
