Job summary

Ledcor in Hawthorne, NV is seeking an experienced Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair crushers and processing systems in a fast-paced surface mining environment. You will own the work, prioritize safety, and prevent downtime while keeping operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining crushing and processing equipment in mining environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, and gearboxes.
• Ability to perform welding (MIG, Stick, Oxy-Acetylene) as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and respirator fit testing if required.
• MSHA Part 48 certification preferred; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on crushing and processing equipment to keep production on target.
• Maintain and service jaw/cone crushers, conveyors, belts, gearboxes, bearings, chutes, and liners.
• Complete welding and cutting tasks as required (MIG, Stick, OxyAcetylene).
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and FLHA to identify risks before work begins.
• Read schematics, diagrams, and manuals to diagnose issues and determine repair methods.
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance (including vibration analysis), and align, test, and adjust equipment for reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, report equipment issues, and communicate effectively with operations and maintenance teams.
