Job summary

Knife River is seeking a Crusher Foreman to lead the crusher crew and oversee daily operations at a Montana site. You will operate and maintain the crusher, manage inventories, schedules and logs, and ensure MSHA compliance and quality standards.

The role requires strong welding and fabrication skills, plus the ability to read specifications and manuals. Expect flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends and overtime, with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have detailed knowledge of crusher operation with screen and conveyor systems.
• High degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication and observation.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, operator's manuals and instructions.
• Strong welding, fabrication and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for daily activities of the crusher crew.
• Operate and maintain the crusher in a safe, efficient manner.
• Keep inventory, prepare production schedules/reports and maintain operators log per MSHA regulations.
• Participate in quality control to meet specifications.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and maintain safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide the necessary leadership and direction for daily activities of the crusher crew.
• Operate and maintain the crusher in safe, efficient manner.
• Keep inventory, prepare production schedules/reports and maintain operators log as necessary and comply with MSHA regulations.
• Participate in quality control program to meet specifications.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
