Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Sports Staff member to promote and host sports deck activities aboard our ships. You will organize tournaments, instruct guests in sports techniques, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role involves working across venues on board and supporting ship programs as required. The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year of fitness/sports instruction experience, with certification preferences (CPR, ACE/AAFA/ACSM).

Qualifications

• One year of physical fitness or recreational sports instruction background required.
• Ability to coordinate/instruct recreational sports for large groups; rock-climbing wall instruction included.
• CPR and lifesaving certifications preferred; ACE/AAFA/ACSM or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and host sports deck activities and organize tournaments.
• Explain and demonstrate equipment use; track inventory.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies.
• Post daily information and hours of operation.
• Assist with shore excursions and ship programs as needed.
