Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) is seeking a highly motivated Scheduler within MPL Movements to generate revenue and optimize crude pipeline schedules across Findlay, OH or San Antonio, TX locations. The role supports MPC/MPLX shippers and operations, coordinating carriers and field personnel to balance flow and cost.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of industry experience required.
• Knowledge of downstream operations and/or pipeline operations preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Outlook and Word is expected.

Responsibilities

• Remains on call 24 hours/7 days per week to adjust schedules for emergencies.
• Plans pipeline schedules to optimize utilization and operating costs.
• Prepares and distributes daily reports to communicate supply positions and concerns.
