Job summary

Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation in Newark, Ohio seeks a certified respiratory therapist to join our clinical team. Full-time, part-time, and PRN roles available. You will provide respiratory care to residents with acute and chronic conditions as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required.
• Experience providing respiratory care in a clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to educate residents and families on care plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor resident respiratory status
• Administer oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation programs
• Monitor residents with COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other cardiopulmonary conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, nurse practitioners, and therapy teams
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and clinical discussions
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care plans and treatment goals
• Respond to changes in resident respiratory condition and communicate findings promptly
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
