Job description

POSITION: Crossing Guard

LOCATION: West Hollis/Pine

REPORTS TO: Plant Operations

WORK YEAR: 2024-2025 School Year

SALARY: $17.62 per hour

Principal Duties

1. This is a part-time position working 2-4 hours per day.
2. Crossing Guards are responsible for ensuring the safe movement of school children across city roadways, managing traffic control at designated crosswalks, and performing duties at specific posts during designated times.
3. They must report and record any unusual activity or child's injury while on duty, and correct unsafe conduct of children.
4. Additional duties may be assigned by the Assistant Director of Plant Operations.
