Job description

POSITION: CROSSING GUARD

LOCATION: MANCHESTER/COX

REPORTS TO: PLANT OPERATIONS

WORK YEAR: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

SALARY: $17.62 PER HOUR

Principal Duties

• This is a part-time position working 1-3 hours per day.

Crossing Guards shall be responsible for the safe movement of school children across city roadways; traffic control at designated crosswalks; performing duties at designated posts during specified times; reporting and recording any unusual activity or child's injury; correcting unsafe conduct of children; and performing other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Plant Operations.
