JOB GOAL:

To provide a safe environment for students walking to and from school.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Crossing guards must be uniformed so that motorists and pedestrians can recognize them and respond to their signals.
2. Crossing guards should pick opportune times to create a safe gap for crossing pedestrians.
3. Crossing guards must use an 18” STOP sign paddle that has “STOP” on both sides.
4. Crossing guards must cross students in pedestrian crosswalks.
