aa210 is seeking a Crossing Guard to assist children and pedestrians at school routes in Sugar Land, TX. This role focuses on safety, guiding pedestrians, and presenting a visible safety presence to motorists.
You will assemble pedestrians, interrupt traffic when gaps appear, teach crossing procedures, and report unsafe behavior to school officials. Must communicate clearly in English and be able to stand for extended periods in all weather.
The Crossing Guard will provide assistance to children and other pedestrians in crossing at specified streets along school routes and perform related work as required. This incumbent is assigned to locations near schools or along adjacent streets to protect children from traffic when crossing and to present a safety enforcement presence to passing motorists.
