Montrose County School District RE-1J is seeking a Crossing Guard to escort students safely across designated intersections. Training is provided, and the position offers an 18.00/hour rate with a split shift schedule (morning and afternoon). Start date is to be determined after hire and background check.
The role requires patience with children, good judgment of traffic, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. District-wide assignments will apply.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, to perform the duty of escorting school children safely across designated street intersections, and to perform related duties as required. Training is provided. This position will require a person who is willing to work several hours per day doing a split shift (morning and afternoon Crossing Duties)

Experience and Education:
Experience: Paid or volunteer experience working with elementary/middle school age children.
