Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New Jersey is seeking a Distribution Center Manager to oversee receiving, shipping, cross-docking and yard operations. You’ll plan staffing, ensure accurate merchandise flow, and coach direct reports to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Logistics.
• 3–5 years distribution or warehousing management experience.
• Proficient in fundamentals of distribution management.
• Prior cross dock/warehouse management system experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, cross-docking and yard jockey functions.
• Evaluate daily volume to establish staffing requirements for each department.
• Ensure merchandise is received and moved accurately per policies.
• Monitor cross dock process to maximize merchandise flow.
• Coach direct reports to achieve department performance goals.
