Job summary

RELX INC throughout the Cell Press Life and Medical Science portfolio is seeking a Cross-Journal Editor based near the Massachusetts USA office. You will engage with editors and authors to publish cutting‑edge research across multiple journals, supporting innovation in publishing and editor experience.

You will manage editorial tasks, guide authors, and collaborate with global teams, while contributing to broader Cell Press initiatives and community engagement.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline within the life or medical sciences.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly with authors and editors.
• Ability to work flexibly across journals and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Assess submitted papers and oversee peer review and editorial process.
• Guide authors through publishing steps and journal transfers.
• Build relationships with Cell Press colleagues and researchers.
• Represent Cell Press at scientific meetings and visits.
• Improve editorial processes for editors and reviewers.
