Qualifications

• Ph.D. in life/medical sciences or related field.
• Strong communication and distilling complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to learn new scientific areas and publish insights across journals.

• Interest in science communication and publishing trends.

Responsibilities

• Assess submitted research papers and oversee peer review and editorial process.
• Guide authors through publishing steps and journal transfers.
• Support editors and authors to optimize publishing outcomes across Cell Press titles.
• Build relationships with colleagues across Cell Press and external partners.
• Represent Cell Press at meetings and research institutions.
• Improve editorial processes for editors and reviewers.
• Contribute to Cell Press initiatives shaping science communication.
