Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Groups is seeking a Cross Domain Engineer to support a fast-paced team provisioning customer dataflow in an Enterprise Cross Domain System. The role focuses on gathering requirements, coordinating TEMs, and ensuring CDS implementation aligns with enterprise goals.

You will troubleshoot outages, perform comprehensive system checks, and document technical details for stakeholders while maintaining security practices and compliance with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD IAT Level II certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and networking security practices.

Freedom Technology Solutions Groups is looking to add a Cross Domain Engineer to support a fast-paced team provisioning customer dataflow in an Enterprise Cross Domain System.

Responsibilities

• Collect requirements from stakeholders and determine best implementation solution.
• Schedule/attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss/whiteboard design and implementation details.
• Coordinates implementation approach and timeline with technical and project management staff.
• Identifies and remediates potential implementation conflicts of CDS technologies across the Enterprise.
• Respond and resolve service outages, technical queries, and other system related issues.
• Perform system checks (processes, services, network, storage) to ascertain overall system health.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, deliver technical presentations, effectively and accurately communicate technical information with co-workers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Ability to successfully pass and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement)
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field and Six (6) years of applicable experience
• DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
• Experience with Linux operating systems; understanding of general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts.

Desired

• Experience working with Cross Domain Solutions and operationally supporting CDS technologies on the NCDSMO approved products list.
