Job summary

LKQ Corporation is hiring a Cross-Dock Worker in Alsip, IL. You will perform receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping tasks, and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. The role supports efficient logistics and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

The position runs Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays possible, from 5:00pm to 1:30am. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and up to one year of related experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of work related experience.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Warehouse environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store inbound product to designated locations.
• Pick and pull correct products and deliver to staging or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment (forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks).
• Sort and shelve items; maintain orderly work areas; follow company policies.

May write brief messages and keep simple records.* Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.* Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.* Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.* Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.**Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.* The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
