Job summary

LKQ Corp in Alsip, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will receive and put away inbound products, pick and pack orders, and help move stock to staging areas. Mon-Fri 10:00 AM–6:30 PM start pay $20.00 per hour.

You may operate manual and powered equipment like forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and hand trucks. The role emphasizes safety, inventory control, and housekeeping, with benefits including health/Dental/Vision Insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Up to 1 year of work related experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred; PIT equipment experience a plus.

May write brief messages and keep simple records.* Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.* Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.* Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.* Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.**Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time.* The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
