Job summary

WEIDMANN Electrical Technology, Inc. in St. Johnsbury, VT is seeking a Components Flex Operator I to support Milling, Cylinders, and Cylinder Windings. You will operate diverse equipment, set up processes, monitor production, and maintain safety and quality standards to ensure efficient manufacturing.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to move across departments as needed. We offer competitive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School Diploma required.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, machine operation, or a skilled trade preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including measuring with tape measure, micrometers, and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and operate across Milling, Cylinders, and Cylinder Windings.
• Monitor production, perform basic maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Identify and report defects, process issues, and material discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate concerns to maintenance or supervisors.
• Move between departments to meet production schedules and quality targets.
