Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct practices that develop individual and team athletic skills
  • Teach sport-specific fundamentals, strategies, and rules
  • Promote student-athlete growth, sportsmanship, and positive character
  • Supervise and manage student-athletes during practices, competitions, and team activities
  • Prepare teams for competitions and coach during games with professionalism
  • Prioritize athlete safety and follow all injury prevention and emergency protocols
  • Establish and enforce team expectations aligned with school and district policies
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and athletic staff
  • Assist with program administration, including equipment, records, and required documentation
  • Comply with all school, district, and athletic association rules and professional standards
