Job summary

MSD of Martinsville is seeking a Cross Country Assistant Coach to oversee practices, ensure athlete safety, and enforce IHSAA regulations while guiding student-athletes through in-season and off-season training.

You will organize team schedules, coordinate transportation, monitor academics, mentor junior coaches, and maintain strong communication with families and school administration to build a robust feeder program from middle school.

Qualifications

• Adhere to IHSAA regulations and training standards.
• Ensure safety and appropriate conduct of student-athletes during practices and events.
• Ability to develop in-season and off-season training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for in-season and off-season.
• Organize schedules, coordinate transportation, and manage equipment inventory.
• Monitor student‑athletes' academic progress and mentor assistants.
