TrulyHired is seeking a dedicated special education professional to maximize learning for students with special needs. You will implement district-approved curriculum, document progress, and tailor instruction to individual IEPs and BIPs.

The role requires state General Curriculum certification and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff. Full-time, in-person position with a focus on trauma-informed practices and student well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold state General Curriculum certification (88091 or 88001) and be designated highly qualified.
• Experience applying special education principles and evidence-based strategies.
• Ability to develop IEPs and BIPs integrating academic and behavioral goals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents; maintain records.

Responsabilités

• Applies special education principles and differentiated instruction.
• Conducts assessments to identify needs and informs teaching strategies.
• Develops IEPs and BIPs integrating goals across domains.
• Delivers direct instruction and supports staff in implementation.
• Uses data to monitor progress on IEP/BIP goals.
• Collaborates with staff to align supports school-wide.
• Maintains knowledge of relevant laws and best practices.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation.
• Builds partnerships with parents/guardians for home-school alignment.
• Complies with district procedures and safety standards.
