Job summary

Fasanara Capital in New York is seeking an experienced trader to join the central execution desk. You will execute orders for portfolio managers across crypto spot, perpetuals, futures, and listed securities while balancing price, speed and risk.

You will work alongside traders, quants, and developers to refine execution tools and processes. The role requires hands-on crypto trading experience on centralised exchanges and exposure to TradFi assets, with strong knowledge of market microstructure,

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on execution or trading experience at a hedge fund, prop firm, or market maker.
Live experience trading crypto on centralised exchanges and at least one TradFi asset class.
Strong understanding of market microstructure, order books, and fees.

Responsibilities

Execute orders for portfolio managers across crypto spot, futures, ETFs and equities.
Run multi-leg and cross-asset trades, manage risk, and minimize market impact.
Monitor automated trading and hedging bots in real time.
Identify stalled hedges, rejected orders, and breaches of position limits.
Assess execution quality using TCA metrics like slippage, VWAP, and fill rates.
Report results to PMs and management with clear documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of venues, fees, rebates, and liquidity programs.
Collaborate with quants and developers to improve execution tools.
Write clear specs and test changes; handle incidents calmly under pressure.
