Job summary

Gold Star FS, Inc. is seeking a Crop Specialist in Lyndon, IL to grow profitable sales of crops inputs, fertilizer, crop protection, seed products, and related services.

You will develop customers through targeted marketing, schedule product delivery, and provide agronomic recommendations in the assigned territory. Responsibilities include implementing marketing plans, performing territory and competitive analysis, and delivering value-added agronomic services while maintaining strong customer

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business required.
• 2+ years of related work experience in production agriculture or sales preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies to generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
• Uses targeted marketing and sales techniques, including the FS interview road map, to engage patrons and prospects.
• Develops territory and competitive analysis to stay current on market conditions and competition.
• Provides agronomic products, services, and recommendations; schedules delivery and application to patron locations.
