Job summary

Prairieland FS is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver and apply crop protection inputs in the field under the Location Manager. You will communicate sales leads and ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance during operations.

Responsibilities include equipment calibration, record-keeping, and timely delivery of products, with a focus on quality and customer service. CDL and pesticide licenses are required within six months of hire where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of agronomy practices and equipment operation.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field preferred; agronomy/precision agriculture a plus.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture tech is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Mixes products and applies crop inputs according to rates, procedures and labels.
• Maintains and operates application equipment and vehicles safely.
• Calibrates equipment to ensure accurate application rates.
