Job summary

Sunrise FS in Mason City, IL is seeking an Applicator to operate sprayers and trucks, applying crop inputs per label directions. You will perform daily safety checks, maintain schedules, and help with inventory control to support reliable service for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to obtain a CDL within 1 year, and a pesticide/applicator license. Competitive benefits include a pension, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is normally required.
• Willing to obtain CDL License within 1 year of employment.
• Must have a satisfactory driving record and valid medical card.
• Must obtain pesticide/applicator license or any other licenses/certifications needed.
• Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and professionally applies crop production inputs to fields according to rates and labeled instructions.
• Records application data per regulations and standards.
• Operates sprayers, floaters, and trucks to meet company and DOT standards.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Loads/unloads containers and ensures proper balance and axle weights on trucks/trailers.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures product is accounted for.
