Job summary

Sunrise FS, headquartered in Virginia, Illinois, operates in agronomy and related services and seeks a field operations driver to apply crop inputs and operate sprayers and trucks in our growing network.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload materials, maintain records, and ensure compliance with pesticide labels and DOT standards. CDL license and pesticide license are required within 1 year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL license required or to be obtained within 1 year.
• Pesticide/applicator license or ability to obtain one within position term.
• Ability to operate sprayers, trucks and related equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply crop inputs to fields per rates and labels.
• Record application data according to regulations and standards.
• Set up, maintain and operate sprayers, floaters and trucks to DOT standards.
• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Load/unload materials, ensure proper axle weights and balance.
• Assist with inventory control and processing of delivery tickets.
