Crop Applicator, Seasonal (Mt.. Vernon, WA)

General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The applicator is responsible for the safe and legal application of plant protection and fertilizer products to crops and sites. The applicator calculates product and carrier quantities, properly mixes, and applies plant protection and/or fertilizer products using various application equipment.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:

  • Familiarity with laws and regulations governing pesticide application
  • Possession or ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license with Haz-Mat and Tank endorsements
  • Understanding of basic measurements and calculations for calibration (gallons per acre, acres per tank)
  • Knowledge of application equipment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Accurate site location skills
  • Qualified Applicator's Certification license and safety training attendance
  • Completion of bi-annual medical exams
  • Participation in DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Flexibility to work odd hours during peak season (6-7 days, 10-14 hours)
  • Willingness to travel to other branches, meeting locations, or farms

Compensation and Benefits:
