MercyOne Waterloo Anesthesiology Care - CRNA is seeking a CRNA to join a practice of 11 anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs. You will administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures under physician supervision.

Competitive salary with limited on-call requirements and multi-site work at Waterloo and Cedar Falls centers. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package with employer-paid malpractice, health/dental/vision plans, retirement, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved CRNA program.
• Certified by National Board of Certification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter training.
• Federal and State Controlled Substance Prescribing Authority.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthetic and monitor patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate under physician supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in pre- and post-operative evaluations and document findings.
• Assist with scheduling and call expectations (limited to 1 night per week).

Under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist, develops anesthesia plans for patients and administers anesthesia. Observes patients' physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by physician. Performs pre- and post- operative evaluations on assigned cases, and documents same in patient charts and required records. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.
