Job summary

Tennessee Valley Eye Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a range of ophthalmic surgeries. The role emphasizes pre-anesthesia evaluation, collaborative planning of anesthetic care, and careful intraoperative management across cataract, cornea, retina, and oculoplastic cases.

Open to experienced CRNAs with current RN licensure and AANA certification.

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse (RN) is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program is required.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiological status and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position Requirements Description CRNA position at Tennessee Valley Eye Center. Opened in 1999, Tennessee Valley Eye Center is a physician-owned surgery center focused on eye surgery. Our board-certified surgeons cover all ophthalmic sub-specialties, including cataract, cornea, glaucoma, retina, eyelid disorders and cancers, and eye muscle surgeries. This free standing eye center boasts excellent surgical staff and has a great working environment. The current anesthesia team all work well together and enjoy working here!

Total Rewards Salary: Up to $215K Annually Sign on Incentive: $75K

Case Assignments & Schedule

• Schedule: 4, 10 hours. No call, no weekends
• Anesthesia care team. Cataracts, oculoplastics, retina cases, occasional general.
