Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, permanent position in East Chicago, IN. Responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthetic assessments, developing care plans, managing patients during procedures, and collaborating with medical teams. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state registered nurse license.
• Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment.
• Develop an appropriate anesthesia care plan based on patient history.
• Select, obtain, and administer the anesthetic and adjuvant drugs.
• Manage patient airway and pulmonary status.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care.
• Support 28 ORs and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia areas.
• Manage a daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases.
• Participate in a 1 weekend per month call rotation.
• Utilize AI-functionality within the Epic EMR system.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement.

Skills

Current state registered nurse license
