Qualifications

  • Certified CRNA with a Michigan license and 12 months of experience.
  • Must have 75 case logs in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia coverage for outpatient and inpatient procedures.
  • Perform various anesthesia techniques including spinals and epidurals.

Job description

Join a northern Michigan facility as a CRNA this Summer with a quick start and optional weekend call.

Highlights

  • Summer dates available, optional weekend call

Practice Setting

  • Solo CRNA coverage
  • 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
  • Supported by anesthesia techs, nurses, scrub techs, pre-op/PACU nurses
  • MyMichigan Medical Center, Sault Ste. Marie

Schedule

  • Summer Weeks Available, 8-hour days
  • Monday-Thursday, 7a-3:30p
  • Optional weekend call (off-site, 3p-7a weekdays, 3p Fri-7a Mon weekends)
  • 1 night of call per week

Procedures and Cases

  • Endoscopy, general, OB/GYN, ortho, urology, vascular, pulmonary
  • Spinals, epidurals, venous and arterial catheters
  • Blocks preferred but not required
  • 4-8 cases per day on average
  • No hearts or heads

Requirements

  • Certified CRNA, board certified
  • Michigan license required
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Minimum 12 months experience
  • 75 case logs in the last 12 months

Credentialing and Travel

  • Prioritized credentialing (~30 days)
  • Travel and lodging provided
