CRNA Student – Workforce Pipeline Program

Penn State Health is investing in the next generation of CRNAs by offering eligible nurse anesthesia students up to $150,000 in financial support during their education, along with a pathway to a future CRNA career at Penn State Health.

This program is designed for nurses pursuing CRNA education who are interested in building a future career with Penn State Health. Participants receive financial support during their CRNA education and, in return, commit to future employment with Penn State Health in accordance with the terms of the Educational Stipend and Employment Commitment Agreement.

CRNA Workforce Pipeline Program Benefits
  • Up to $150,000 in financial support
  • Up to $50,000 annually
  • Paid in $25,000 installments during the fall and spring semesters
  • Unlike traditional tuition reimbursement, participants have flexibility in how stipend funds are used during their CRNA education. Funds may be used to help offset a variety of related expenses, including:
  • Tuition and related educational expenses
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Childcare
  • Health insurance
  • Living and other personal expenses
  • Opportunities for mentorship, professional development, networking, and engagement with the Penn State Health anesthesia community while completing your CRNA education.
  • A defined pathway to future CRNA employment with Penn State Health, contingent upon successful completion of program and employment requirements.
  • Participants remain eligible for approved recruitment incentives and relocation benefits available at the time of employment.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
