Job summary

A regional academic health system in Louisville is seeking a qualified CRNA responsible for administration of anesthesia and patient monitoring. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold an active Kentucky CRNA license. This role involves mentoring nurse anesthesia residents and requires strong organizational and leadership skills, aiming to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a CRNA preferred.
• Certification by the National Board of Certification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer all types of anesthesia including General, MAC, and Regional.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations.
• Monitor patients vigilantly peri-operatively.
