Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care throughout the peri-operative period. You will perform pre-anesthetic evaluation, plan and administer anesthesia, monitor during surgery, and manage emergence with a focus on patient safety.

Responsibilities include detailed documentation, collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons, and readiness to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited registered nursing program.
• Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program required at hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
• Advanced Practice Nurse License (Hawaii) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
• Induction, maintenance, emergence and post-anesthesia care.
• Perform airway management including intubation and ventilation.
• Monitor and manage patient physiology and hemodynamics during peri-anesthetic period.
• Document care and communicate with anesthesia team and surgeon.
