Job summary

Rush Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time position in the Anesthesiology department. Shifts are 8's, 10's and 12's; on-call pager is required and call pay applies, with no in-house call for OB/Cardiac/Neuro.

The CRNA will educate SRNAs as a faculty member and participate in ongoing professional development. Licensure as an IL RN/APN with CPR and ACLS is required, with salary between $250,000 and $350,000 per year and

Position Highlights

• Shifts available are 8's, 10's and a possibility of 12's.
• Call requirement includes no in-house call with no OB/Cardiac/Neuro coverage. Additionally, you are paid to carry your pager while on-call, and you are paid a call-rate if you are called in.
• As a faculty member, the CRNA will clinically educate as a preceptor for SRNAs.

• Illinois Nurse Educator Loan Repayment Program - $5,000 of loan forgiveness per year up to four years total.

• $2,000 per year for continuing medical education is available for CRNAs, as well as $1,500 every three years for maintenance of licenses and certifications in addition to one workweek off per year for seminars/professional meetings. Rush also hosts weekly grand rounds that count for one class 'A' CEU-free. Additionally, every day precepting an SRNA counts as a class 'B' credit.
