Job Responsibilities:

1. Review anesthesia informed consent and pre-anesthesia evaluations, including laboratory and diagnostic studies.
2. Collaborate with anesthesiologists to develop and implement appropriate anesthesia care plans.
3. Administer anesthesia, monitor patient status vigilantly throughout procedures, and record all relevant data.
4. Recognize and respond to patient responses, assisting with invasive procedures as needed.
5. Implement orders and considerations from anesthesiologists, and communicate patient care information during handoffs.
6. Evaluate anesthesia effectiveness and manage post-operative rounds to assess for complications.
7. Follow safety policies and procedures, advocating for patient safety throughout perioperative care.
8. Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Active Missouri CRNA license.
• Minimum of one year critical care nursing experience.
• Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), with BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
