Job summary

PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee Hospital in Illinois is seeking a CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures in a four-OR setting.

You will perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthetic plans with patients, and manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient’s physiological status and interventions as needed will be part of the role, with involvement in departmental coordination and leadership.

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.

These clinicians include two medical doctors and five CRNAs working in our care team model.
