Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to work on a Per Diem basis with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per quarter. The CRNA will provide safe and effective anesthesia under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist.

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited nursing anesthesia program and hold current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York. Both new graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply.

This role may be subject to exposure from infectious waste and requires compliance with HIPAA regarding sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing anesthesia program.
• Current certification from the NBCRNA.
• Ability to provide safe anesthesia across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia in operating and non-operating rooms.
• Work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill appropriate to varied patient ages.
