Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Bascom Palmer Eye Institute seeks a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Miami to prepare and administer anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons.

Responsibilities include pre/post anesthesia visits, monitoring vital signs, airway management, and rapid response to emergencies. Requires Master’s degree, FL APRN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers anesthesia for procedures following prescribed methods.
• Collaborates with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other clinicians.
• Performs pre- and post-anesthesia visits and documents notes.
• Monitors vital signs and airway status during anesthesia.
• Responds to emergencies and provides airway management as needed.
