Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco is seeking a CRNA or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant for a PRN, as-needed role at our Ambulatory Surgical Center. Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia for pediatric orthopedic procedures under supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities include preoperative evaluations, developing anesthesia plans with the attending, safe patient transport, and age-appropriate postoperative care.

Qualifications

• CRNA or CAA license required.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
• CRNA candidates must hold NBCRNA certification.
• CAA candidates must hold NCCAA certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia for scheduled pediatric orthopedic procedures.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and help develop anesthesia care plans with attending anesthesiologist.
• Safely transport patients and provide postoperative care.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia and surgical team and interact respectfully with patients and families.
• Provide safe, age-appropriate anesthesia care in compliance with standards and regulations.
