Position Overview

The Cardiac Anesthetist Team at Emory University Hospital (EUH) & Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) is hiring Anesthetists - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) - to join Emory Healthcare’s integrated academic healthcare system.

Work Schedule
  • Full-Time/Part-Time
  • Rotating schedule with call
Experience Requirements
  • Cardiothoracic, Transplant, and/or General Anesthesia experience preferred
Benefits and Highlights
  • Salary: $225,000 - $295,000 annually (full-time), based on experience
  • Starting salary for new graduates: $198,000, increasing to $225,000 after orientation
  • $30,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment
  • Additional compensation: extra duty pay, overnight shift allowances, CME leave & allowances, Student Loan Repayment
  • 37 days PTO for full-time staff, with benefits starting from day one

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in general and regional anesthesia under anesthesiologist supervision
  • Perform initial cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and instruct others as needed
  • Monitor patient physiological and pharmacological status
  • Participate in research projects
  • Manage pre- and post-anesthetic care, including ventilator management
  • Supervise student anesthetists and participate in clinical research
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited CRNA or CAA Master’s program
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in Georgia
  • Certified by NBCRNA or NCCAA
  • Maintain biannual CME certification
  • BLS certification from AHA
