Job summary
Community HealthCare System in Kansas seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to perform pre-anesthesia assessments, craft anesthesia care plans, and administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetric, and emergency procedures. Qualifications
- A CRNA must be certified and licensed in Kansas.
- Minimum 1+ year CRNA experience in surgical and obstetric care.
- Preferred: rural or Critical Access Hospital experience or independent practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia care plans, and obtain informed consent.
- Administer anesthesia for surgical, endoscopic, obstetric, emergency procedures.
- Provide MAC and procedural sedation; manage airway support across departments.
- Provide anesthesia services for labor and delivery; obstetric emergencies.
- Respond to hospital-wide anesthesia needs (OR, airway, sedation, obstetric cases).
- Monitor anesthesia and recovery; ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and leadership; educate staff on sedation safety.
