Job summary

This position will rotate throughout different hospitals in the healthcare system and provide anesthesia services across a variety of clinical settings, which could include an academic medical center, community hospitals, or ambulatory centers.Essential FunctionsDevelop anesthesia care plans.Serve as a resource for nursing staff on complex clinical cases and ethical dilemmas.Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests.Calibrate and test anesthesia equipment.Monitors the life support functions of patients during period of anesthesia for procedures or emergencies as needed.Prepares and evaluates the safety of anesthetic equipment, supplies, and drugs.Required for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsDoes this position require Patient Care (indirect/direct)?
