Job description

The locum tenens CRNA opportunity in Oklahoma offers a comprehensive description of the role, location, schedule, and requirements. To enhance readability and professionalism, some formatting improvements and slight clarifications are recommended.

Location: 1 hour from Oklahoma City, OK

Duration: June – August (with an option to extend)

Schedule: Full-time preferred; open to considering multiple providers

Shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours

Call: 1:13 first call and 1:13 second call rotation (off post-call days)

Volume: To be determined

Scope: CRNA – independent practice model

Cases: General anesthesia, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endoscopy, interventional cardiology, pain management, robotics, spinal blocks, peripheral regional anesthesia (adductor, femoral, TAP, brachial plexus, axillary), OBGYN/labor epidurals (preferred), healthy pediatrics (no neuro, trauma, or complex pediatrics)

Hospital: Level 3 trauma center with an independent practice model and no supervision required for CRNAs. Facilities include 7 ORs, a dedicated C-section suite, 1 endoscopy room, and a separate ASC with 3 ORs and 2 endo rooms.

Group/support: 13-provider team: 3 anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs. All providers perform cases and take call. Supportive team environment with always available assistance.

Requirements (boards, license): Board-certified, active Oklahoma license or Compact license, ability to practice independently, perform spinal blocks and peripheral regional anesthesia.
