Job summary

Azura Vascular Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Atlanta, GA. The CRNA will practice autonomously and in collaboration with an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality anesthesia and pain care services across surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
• Current state licensure and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• BLS and ACLS certification in good standing.
• NBCRNA certification and recertification as required.
• Insurable by malpractice insurer under limits required by the institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessment and documentation.
• Review and order labs and diagnostic studies where allowed by state law.
• Obtain informed consent for anesthesia and related services.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
• Prepare equipment, monitors, and drugs for anesthesia and pain management.
• Administer analgesic and anesthetic agents and provide perioperative care.
• Document peri-anesthetic care and patient responses.
• Manage airway and provide respiratory support during and after anesthesia.
• Support post-anesthesia recovery and discharge planning.
• Participate in center quality meetings and comply with policies.
• Implement regional techniques and interventional pain management as appropriate.
