Job summary

Azura Vascular Care in Durham, NC is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver high-quality anesthesia and pain care across surgical procedures in outpatient settings. The CRNA will work autonomously and with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The role requires extensive CRNA experience, state licensure, BLS/ACLS, and NBCRNA certification, with strong communication skills and proficiency with anesthesia equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current state RN and CRNA licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• NBCRNA certification and recertification current.
• Insurable by malpractice insurer as required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Anesthesia Assessment & Planning: conduct evaluations, obtain informed consent, develop anesthesia plans.
• Medication & Equipment Management: select, administer anesthetics and adjuvants; perform safety checks on equipment.
• Anesthesia Administration: administer anesthesia and sedation; manage airways; ensure safe delivery.
• Intraoperative & Peri-Anesthetic Monitoring: monitor patient and adjust care to maintain stability.
• Post-Anesthesia Care & Discharge: manage emergence, recovery, and discharge from PACU.
• Pain Management & Advanced Techniques: implement pain strategies including regional anesthesia.
• Emergency & Critical Interventions: stabilize patients; provide airway, CV, and respiratory support.
• Compliance, Safety, & Collaboration: ensure safety and participate in quality initiatives.
