Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care for general, regional, and sedation cases. The CRNA conducts pre-operative evaluations and collaborates with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to plan individualized anesthesia care.

Intraoperative management includes airway and hemodynamic monitoring, with postoperative emergence and pain control and smooth transitions to recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Active RN and APRN licensure in Virginia.
• Experience in anesthesia delivery and perioperative care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and informed consent.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans with teams.
• Administer general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia.
• Perform advanced regional techniques (epidurals, nerve blocks).
• Monitor vital signs and manage airway; ensure safety and stability.
• Provide postoperative emergence, pain management, and recovery transitions.
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams.
• Engage in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
