A sign-on bonus of $60,000 is offered to external hires only.

Eligibility requires continued full-time (1.0 FTE) employment with AHN for a minimum of three years in the initially hired position.

Rehires must have been separated from AHN for at least twelve months to qualify.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients. Provide accurate medical record documentation. (45%)
2. Continuously observe patients under anesthesia, correct abnormal responses, and consult with attending physicians as needed. (35%)
3. Participate in and develop performance and quality improvement initiatives. (10%)
4. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. (5%)
5. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff or students. (5%)
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Current PA RN license
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred

• Previous CRNA experience
