Job summary

Calais Community Hospital is seeking a CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across perioperative periods. You will collaborate with the surgical team to plan and execute anesthesia while prioritizing patient safety and advocacy.

The role requires active Maine RN and CRNA licenses, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Leadership and independent practice are essential in this setting.

Qualifications

• Master of science in Nurse Anesthesia required with doctorate preferred.
• Active Maine RN license and CRNA license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong leadership and independent functioning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum anesthesia care for surgeries.
• Consult with the operative surgeon before, during, and after anesthesia.
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for patients throughout perioperative period.
• Maintain adherence to standards of care as required by state and professional bodies.
